Julie did an outstanding job for us. The design met all of our requirements and satisfied Shropshire Council but Julie did far more than that. She suggested ways to turn a good house into a truly outstanding house. She also recommended the garden designer, builder and ground worker. The result was an excellent team who all took pride in their work and delivered something special. The whole process took 5 years and Julie was always there to ensure things stayed on track. So we would certainly recommend Severn Architects.

Living in an AONB and very close to a scheduled monument, we needed to choose a local architect who could work with the local authority planners and understand their perspective. The architect here has had many years working as an architect for the council and her experience shows. After several months of myself submitting a pre-application and talking to the local council - coming to an unsavoury conclusion - I decided to get Severn Architects on board. I now have planning which has sailed through, and a very happy building inspector who says he only has admiration for the quality of the drawings (which he says are consistently excellent) and noted on a personal level how lovely the architect is to work with. I had very strong ideas about what I hoped to achieve and Julie has understood, interpreted and expressed these in a way that has more than satisfied my requirements and the parameters set by the local council. I can only highly recommend and family members are about to embark on their building projects using this firm as a result of our experience.
