Lovely location, really friendly lady owner cabins right next to fishing pools with good stock of fish, definitely be back

Probably one of the best fisheries I've visited. We stayed over the Friday and Saturday in one of the log cabins at the fishery, it was huge and had everything you would need for a weekend stay, even a washing machine👍. We fished on Charlie's pool both days. We were not disappointed, every fish we caught was pristine and looked healthy, all down to the owners and how they run the business. We will be returning. Thanks guys for a great fishing trip👍

Myself and my Dad visited Woodside Fishery for the first time this week... EXCELLENT is all I can say! From the friendly lady that took our day ticket payment, to the parking which is close to the pools all the way to the fantastic fishing, this fishery is one of the best we have been to. We both caught plenty of good quality, hard fighting Carp and the plentiful Roach and Rudd are of a nice size and all the fish we caught were in excellent condition. The rules are fair and well thought out and won’t stop you from having a great days fishing and the pools are all tidy and well looked after with not one bit of little to be seen. The owner was very helpful and responsive to messages that I exchanged with him with queries I had leading up to our visit which was a big help. Thank you for that! We will definitely return here in future and we hope to stay in one of the lodges at some point. 5 stars for this fishery and the people who run it - we’d highly recommend!!! This place is absolutely brilliant. We have been coming for annual fishing trip for the last 3 years. Never diserpoints. See you next year .

Really great fishing venue. Definitely not the biggest or most commercial I've been to but all the better for it. We stayed in the on site accomodation and it was clean and functional and offered easy access to 3 good sized waters. Plenty of fish caught on corn and pellets using the method feeder and float. Would definitely come back.

Absolutely stunning place not your average "hole in the ground type" commercial fishery to top the beautiful scenery lakes provide non-stop action with matured Carp in great condition. Bailiff full of great pointers for anglers who are visiting this place for first time, as first timer on this Fishery i can definitely say this was not my last time, a good hour of drive for me but more than worth it.

Fishing and accomodation pretty good, preffered it a few years ago though. Bait bans are a bit of a pain now, no meat, no hemp, no bread.......Docklow Pools and Weston pools are on another level though. But plenty of fish to be had in all fairness.

Fantastic fishery with four well stocked pools and very friendly owners who are more than happy to give you the low down on what baits are catching on each pool, All the pools are well cared for including using their landing nets to prevent the likes of khv , And cabins on site so fishing week or weekend holidays are available.
